After 5 intense years Karolina Adamczyk said goodbye to the role of director of our festival. Valuable experience behind me, new challenges ahead of me – she wrote in a post on Facebook, informing about her resignation.
Karolina Adamczyk is a media expert and media educator who has organized many educational and cultural projects. She has been associated with the FILMFORUM Association for years, and in 2018 became the organizational director of KAMERALNE LATO festival. For two years (2020-2021) she combined her function with the role of artistic director. Now she has decided to change the course and reach for the new experiences.

– Everything comes to an end someday. My adventure with the KAMERALNE LATO festival as an organizational director as well. Valuable experience behind me, new challenges ahead of me. I would like to thank the FILMFORUM team, in particular Maciej Dominiak and Dorota Kozłowska-Woźniak, for their trust and the role entrusted to me. Applause for the whole team of passionate people who have proven more than once that they can work under time pressure and in dynamic conditions, each time giving the festival their hearts. I leave the party in good hands – she wrote on Facebook, saying goodbye to the crew and festival participants.
In 2023, Bartosz Bednarczyk will take her place, while Łukasz Adamski will continue to be the artistic director.
– I believe that Łukasz Adamski and Bartosz Bednarczyk will create an extraordinary duo that will surprise you with creativity and an interesting program during the upcoming summer. I keep my fingers crossed and wish you good luck in further development of the event – the former director of the festival commented in her post.
Bartosz Bednarczyk is the new organizational director of the KAMERALNE LATO
The man who will take over the reins from Karolina Adamczyk is a figure very well known to the residents of Radom. Born in 1984, a graduate of Journalism and Social Communication and Law, is a native of Radom, who returned to his hometown right after finishing studies. As he claims – he came back because this is his place on Earth.
Bartosz Bednarczyk has been producing documentaries and historical shows for over a decade. He is a co-founder and owner of Wytwórnia Filmów i Widowisk Historycznych VIS. He has made over a dozen documentaries and over 200 historical spectacles throughout Poland.
The new director of KAMERALNE LATO is also active as a scout. For 10 years he was the commander of the ZHP Radom-Miasto troop and currently he is the Deputy Head of the ZHP responsible for external relations. He is also the chief of staff and the organizer of the finals of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity in Radom, during which well over PLN 3 million has already been donated. He has been working for the GOCC for 14 years. For years, he has also supported the activities of the FILMFORUM Association as associate of the KAMERALNE LATO.
Bednarczyk commented on his new role in co-creating the festival with the following words:
– I am glad that I can take up a new challenge in creating the KAMERALNE LATO. I especially like its social and educational dimensions. I believe that for young adepts of cinematography it can be an important step into the world of film and as Gustaw Holoubek said in “Common Room” by Wojciech Jerzy Hass – “roads to the big world lead through Radom”.
Privately, Bartek is a fan of traveling and meeting people. When it comes to cinema, he likes extremes – historical films on the one hand, and science fiction on the other.
16th Polish National Filmmeetings KAMERALNE LATO will be held on July 2-8, 2023.
